USC ASCE encourages civil and environmental engineering students to make connections through participating in professional networking events and engineering design competitions. Throughout the school year we strive to offer our members opportunities to connect with industry professionals to gain an understanding of the professional experience.

We also assemble design teams to compete at PSWC, our regional conference. In the months leading up to the conference, our three teams, Concrete Canoe, Steel Bridge, and Environmental, apply what they have learned in the classroom and work to design and build outstanding designs.

You can help us to fulfill our mission by supporting our activities. A representative from your company could speak to our members, giving them a glimpse into the diverse opportunities that students may pursue in the workforce. As a sponsor, your financial donation would help us to construct winning design entries and cover the cost of sending members to our competitions. Material donations, which could range from steel or concrete aggregates to polystyrene foam or tools are also greatly beneficial to our design teams’ endeavors.
