As Sherwood’s new bicycle and pedestrian bridge opened this fall, the city gained not only a major link in the multimodal transportation network but also an iconic landmark. After dark, the sculptural structure comes to life with color changing architectural lights. The lighting system includes 214 fixtures enabling immense possibilities for future programming. Initially, the bridge will feature twenty scenes on a calendar schedule to debut throughout 2025 and 2026. This post captures the bridge in a range of colors and patterns from several viewpoints, taken during the multi-night testing and programming process in August and September 2025.
