2025 Garden

This year’s garden got off to a slow start, resulting in poor performance amongst most seasonal plants with a notable exception of the tomatoes. Fortunately, it was the best year yet for the fruit trees. Production included:

  • Several hundred large persimmons
  • Several hundred apples (several dozen edible)
  • One hundred small Asian pears
  • Three dozen Red Bartlett pears
  • Eight pints of blackberries
  • Two pumpkins
  • Three poblano peppers
  • Several hundred cherry tomatoes, multiple varieties
  • Around one hundred larger heirloom tomatoes
  • A dozen small (very late) tomatillos
A light dusting of snow surrounds the newly re-clad garden beds.
