The under-appreciated front facade, from what is currently a parking lot across the street. This building never seems to get much attention and is more frequented from the less-interesting back side, which is along the engineering quad. The front is along a tight street with narrow sidewalks, inconsistent street trees, and street parking. Perhaps the future development of this parking lot across the street and conversion of the street into a fully pedestrian relm will revive this building’s orientation along Downey Way.
