It’s been a busy month at USC Village. Sitework has begun, with site concrete around Building 1 and the first installations of trees in the courtyards. Storefront glazing is going in around the first-floor retail spaces, as plaster work in the arcades completes. The dining hall received its precast tracery, with hand-set brick installation to follow next month. And inside the buildings, residential units are coming close to completion with paint, flooring, and millwork installation in progress.

WOW! Thanks.
Thanks for the new update about September work. Fantastic stuff as always and interesting to get good views of the progress inside as well as outside. Any sense of when most of the concrete / hardscape will be laid out in the central plaza?
Thanks again!
Thanks! The central plaza paving will start in a few weeks; it’s all brick pavers similarly to Hahn Plaza (by Tommy Trojan). The first concrete pour for the new fountain there was actually today.
I LOVE this blog. I really appreciate all of your insight ( I read all of your picture captions!). This blog is definitely a monthly ritual for me! Great to feel uptodate on all of the construction changes even though I’m thousands of miles away.
