This rendition of the beautiful “Simple Gifts” trades the melody and other parts between the different cellists, as well as having a generally symphonic nature, utilizing the entire range of the cello for greater depth than most arrangements of the piece, while simultaneously maintaining the piece’s true simplicity. Difficulty-wise, this arrangement is more advanced than most others for cellos. Dynamics are left to the interpretation of the performers.
