This cello solo leverages chords and melodic progressions to demonstrate the capabilities of an unaccompanied cello. Originally written in 2011, it is one of very few pieces that I have written for solo cello as of 2020. It is presented as a single, 3:30-long movement that works well to open an ensemble performance or to act as an interlude.
