The four-part harmony emerges loudly in the fourth verse, bringing clarity to the prominent use of the bass line in the previous repetitions. The final verse repeats the upper-octave and bass line with a reharmonization in the inner voices. Due to the thick textures, this arrangement is best played by a quartet with one cellist per part.
