My second set of three etudes for cello choir features relatively easy music for large groups of cellists. Each etude is one or two pages and may be played individually or with the set. The short etudes work best for very large groups of cellists (more than two-to-a-part) and can also be played by groups as small as a quartet.

The slower tempos in this trio of etudes allows for more-varied expressive interpretations by groups with or without a conductor. Accordingly, dynamics and tempo alterations are left open to interpretation.
