FOREST GREEN is an English Folk Tune that Ralph Vaughan Williams adapted as a hymn tune in The English Hymnal (1906) with a setting of O Little Town of Bethlehem. This arrangement for cello ensemble begins and ends with the four-part harmonization. The inner verses pair different groups of two or three parts in lightly imitative variations.
