REGENT SQUARE is a 19th century hymn tune associated with Angels From the Realms of Glory and other texts. This arrangement for cello quartet applies a light contrapuntal style, drawing from the arpeggios in the melody for a variety of accompaniments culminating in the original four-part harmony and a re-voiced version before repeating the opening staggered building verse.
